Arens Jean Ricardo Médéus is a dedicated and accomplished medical professional with a robust background in surgery, infectious disease epidemiology, and public health. He is currently serving as a General Surgery Resident at Hôpital de l'université d'état d'Haïti in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, where he is honing his surgical skills and contributing to the healthcare community.
Born on January 20, 1995, in Haiti, Dr. Médéus has shown an unwavering commitment to medical excellence from an early age. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Faculté de Médecine et de Pharmacie de l'Université d'État d'Haïti in September 2021. To further his expertise, he completed a Clinical Research Certificate from Harvard Medical School and Postgraduate Medical Education in November 2022.
In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Médéus is the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of KEEP MOVING, an organization established to accelerate and promote scientific research communication in Haiti. His leadership and innovative vision are instrumental in advancing the organization's mission.

He is the founder and president of SURGE Lab (Surgical Research and Global Education Lab), a multidisciplinary team committed to conducting innovative surgical research in low- and middle-income countries.
