I am interested in joining this study. I have participated in five MRP studies and other ten systematic reviews and meta analysis. My role in previous studies included screening using excel, covidence and Rayyan, data extraction, writing introduction, methods and discussion sections, risk of bias assessment and referencing using Mendely.
Also, I am an author of a book (Epilepsy in Grand County) which is available on Amazon.

I am interested in joining the psychiatry research team as a member. I have a strong background in conducting systematic reviews and meta-analysis, having completed the Cochrane course on this topic. I am also currently enrolled in the writing in science course offered by Stanford University, which will help me writing effectively in the research. I am available to start working on the project in the next two months and I am committed to meeting the deadlines. Although I do not have any publications yet, I am eager to contribute to the research output of the team and learn from the experienced researchers.

1- I’ve participated in a wide range of studies including case reports, case series, cross-sectional studies, and currently systematic reviews, scoping reviews, and cohort retrospective studies. I participated in data collection, analysis, literature review, and manuscript writing, editing, and submission in the papers titled: “Perceived Barriers to Early Presentation and Symptom-Specific Time to Seek Medical Advice for Possible Colorectal Cancer Symptoms Among Palestinians”.

The first paper focused on the psychological side effects of Radiation Therapy on cancer patients. Radiation therapy is an essential treatment option for cancer patients, but it can also have a significant impact on their mental health. I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to contribute to this important field of research. The second paper is a case report of a hairball in the stomach, also known as Trichobezoar. This rare condition occurs when hair accumulates in the digestive tract, which can cause a variety of health issues. It was fascinating to learn more about this rare condition and share my findings with the medical community. Finally, the third paper is a case report of a patient with Job Syndrome. Job Syndrome is a rare genetic disorder that affects the immune system and can lead to a variety of health complications. It was an honor to work on this paper and to share my findings with the medical community.

A little bit of my background is Im a current student of Final year MBBS ( MS5) . I have done work of writing abstract, data collection and data analysis on a research on topic of Feeding and Eating Disorders (FED) which is a cross sectional study. It’s gonna published soon. I consider myself to be very familiar with research of all types as I’ve been a part of systematic reviews, meta analysis, narrative reviews, cross sectional studies, cost effectiveness analysis, and case reports/series.
I’ve been a part of all these projects and participated in most steps specially the writing of these articles. Currently, I participated in a total of 15 research projects with 4 published articles and 6 undergoing peer review. In terms of SR/MA writing, I was a part of the writing in three different SR/MA and two MRP specific projects. These articles include AI related article, a cost effectiveness analysis of thrombectomy vs medical management, two systematic reviews, and two case reports.
In terms of familiarity with SR/MA, I’ve been a part of the formulation of research question, inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria. Furthermore, I was tasked with screening and data extraction in previous study that also used rayyan as their main software.
What makes me a great candidate that is able to find a way to do any task effectively. Furthermore, I treat deadlines with the upmost respect and never fail to submit the work on time or even before that.

I am a medical graduate from the University of Guadalajara in Mexico and a current faculty member at the UAG School of Medicine, I am excited to express my strong interest in the current project. I have successfully led teams, presented posters at national and international conferences, and collaborated with multinational research groups. My experience spans case reports, survey-based studies, meta-analyses, and even volunteering for a Cochrane Review in the past.
