I have extensive experience in medical research, particularly in conducting systematic reviews. I have contributed to multiple studies currently in the submission phase, including the MRP-BS and MRP-Xelox studies. My involvement covered all stages, from screening to data extraction, quality assessment, and, in the case of the second study, writing the introduction.
Additionally, I have completed two systematic reviews—one focused on anesthesia and another on diabetes—both of which are also in the submission phase. For the anesthesia study, I participated in every step, including screening, data extraction, quality assessment, and writing the introduction. In the diabetes study, which was a network meta-analysis, I was responsible for extracting data on interventions and baseline characteristics.
To strengthen my expertise, I have completed the following courses:
Cochrane Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis Course
Writing in Science Course by Stanford University
Systematic Review Course by Anas Zakaria on YouTube
I have strong skills in managing all aspects of the systematic review process, including:
Screening (title, abstract, and full-text)
Data extraction (baseline characteristics and outcomes, including necessary conversions)
Quality assessment using tools like ROB 2, ROBINS-I, and NOS
Writing sections such as introductions and methods
While I have a solid background in meta-analysis and writing results and discussion sections, I am seeking opportunities to gain more hands-on experience in these areas.
